5,000 anti-LDS DVD sent to town in Arizona
It turns out that wingnut fundamentalist christians aren’t just anti-muslim, they are also bigotted towards Mormons.
By Tuesday, 5,000 residents who live close to the site of the new Mormon temple in this Phoenix suburb will receive a DVD disputing tenets of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
As part of the mass mailing that will cost more than $10,000, a group called Concerned Christians is mailing the DVD to an additional 5,000 homes in Show Low, Ariz. The town of about 11,000 is 30 miles from Snowflake, Ariz., site of another Mormon temple.
Mormonism contends the Bible has been “corrupted over time,” said Andy Poland, general manager of the group.
